A few years ago, Cisco released its Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) as an open standard. While there's a lot of debate in the networking community about how useful the open version is, David Bombal shows that it makes a multi-vendor EIGRP implementation possible. In this video, he runs open EIGRP between a Linux-based (FRRouting) router and Cisco IOS devices.
