Cisco introduces switching foundation for Data Center 3.0transformation

SAN JOSE, CA -- Cisco(R) (NASDAQ: CSCO)today introduced innovative new solutions that continue to helpcustomers realize the Cisco Data Center 3.0 vision fornext-generation data centers. The culmination of this is theintroduction of the network platform for Data Center 3.0, the CiscoNexus(R) Family of data-center-class switches, and the expansion ofthe Cisco Catalyst(R) Family. This new infrastructure is the nextstep in helping customers to design and build data centerarchitectures that meet the stringent operational continuity,transport flexibility and scalability requirements of thenext-generation data center.
