SPRING, Texas -- Pivot3 Inc, the inventor of high-definition storage based on distributed RAID, today announced the company's participation at the World Game Protection Conference, Las Vegas, Nev., February 19-20. 2008. At this two-day international summit dedicated to casino game protection, attendees visiting the Pivot3 booth #22 will be able to see demonstrations of the latest high-definition storage, supporting a variety of cameras and video surveillance applications, and reducing storage infrastructure costs by as much as 50 percent.

Optimized for megapixel video and implemented by various casinos throughout the country, the Pivot3 High-Definition Storage System increases data security and helps organizations store twice the video while supporting up to five times the data streams of traditional modular storage systems. The Pivot3 IP-based system adds a higher level of data protection across multiple networked storage nodes, called Databanks, which are built using industry-standard x86 servers and disk drives, and are connected via common Gigabit Ethernet. Databanks are added to cost-effectively scale recording capacity and megapixel, high-definition camera support.
