SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- StoreVault, a NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP - News) division, today announced it is adding CDW Corporation (NASDAQ: CDWC - News), a leading provider of technology products and services to business, government, and education, to its roster of authorized StoreVault resellers. The new agreement provides small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) another way to access StoreVault S500 solutions.

SMBs across many different industries are making the switch from direct-attached storage to network storage as a smarter way to handle their data needs. iSCSI SAN, in particular, is garnering significant adoption. As a major iSCSI reseller, CDW will reach a new segment of SMB customers with the StoreVault S500.

CDW complements the current StoreVault channel model, enabling StoreVault to better meet SMB customer needs. SMB customers who regularly purchase their IT products from CDW and prefer a direct shopping experience now have access to StoreVault solutions from NetApp. Organizations with differing levels of network storage (NAS, iSCSI SAN, and Fibre Channel SAN) expertise have the option to work with a local StoreVault authorized SMB VAR or CDW, one of the nation's largest direct market resellers.

"Adding StoreVault strengthens our SMB product portfolio," said Jennifer Keating, director of CDW's storage practice. "It enhances our ability to offer the best technology and in-depth advice to help customers with business continuity, regulation compliance, and other data management challenges."
