3Leaf unveils first I/O virtualization solution running on industry standard servers

LAS VEGAS -- 3Leaf Systems (www.3leafsystems.com), a provider of next-generation virtualization solutions for enterprise data centers, today announced that the company has qualified the HP ProLiant DL 380 G5 to run the 3Leaf® V-8000 enterprise I/O virtualization solution. The V-8000 is the first software-based I/O virtualization solution built to run seamlessly on industry standard servers, enabling enterprises to easily and cost-effectively virtualize server I/O resources to complement existing infrastructures. 3Leaf® V-8000 Virtual I/O Server will be demonstrated running on the HP ProLiant Server for the first time at VMworld 2008 in Las Vegas, booth #1435, September 15-18.
