Ma Bell must be spinning in her grave.
More and more people are dumping their regular phones in favor of going cellular full time. In fact, the number of folks saying bye bye to ATT, MCI, Verizon et al has reached somewhere around 7.5 million.
The majority of these people are mostly students, recent graduates and young professionals, according to CNN. No doubt because they're always on the run and rarely back at "home base," having the one line with them at all times provides constant connections to friends, family and work -- and they never miss a call.
Considering I barely get reception from my cell phone when I'm sitting on my couch at home, however, I think I'll keep my regular phone around just a little while longer.
