Enter the Big Bytes

Never let it be said that Byte and Switch doesn't put some teeth into its coverage of the storage industry.

Today, we're officially unveiling our first annual awards, the Big Bytes, to recognize outstanding products, services, customers, and companies in storage networking.

The awards will focus on generally available products and services announced after September 2005. In addition, there will be awards for outstanding user organizations of varying sizes, and awards for best public and private storage suppliers.

The Big Bytes award winners will be announced in a formal presentation at StoragePlus 2006, Byte and Switchs two-day forum for pre-qualified enterprise storage purchasers, to be held in Burlingame, Calif., September 12 and 13, 2006.So get to work! The deadline for entries is August 18, but don't delay: The date will gain on us fast. Anyone can enter, and it's absolutely free.

A word of advice: Please be as detailed and clear as possible in answering the questions on the entry form. The more specific information we have on your product, service, user site, or favorite company, the better.
