FUDBust: This is an excellent example of everything that's wrong with the Java community. Sun and its allies have been working for 18 months on a framework that makes it possible for Java-based business processes to cross application boundaries. But the group hasn't gotten buy-in from IBM, BEA Systems and Microsoft, three app vendors whose products are used throughout the enterprise.

Microsoft just doesn't like Java. And enterprises, as usual, are left holding the bag. You can't implement an auto standard without the help of Ford and GM. Likewise, you can't build a Java business integration "standard" without IBM, BEA and Microsoft.
