REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- The Information Security Forum, the leading provider of standard practices for protecting enterprise information, announced the expansion of its North American presence by hiring Duke Walton, Vice President of North American Sales and Business Development, in conjunction with the first of a series of new public briefings. Seven two-hour executive briefings in major U.S. and Canadian cities led by Mr. Walton in October will provide non-ISF members insight into top ISF-member information security concerns and an opportunity to exchange views on what matters most to them.

Mr. Walton previously led business development for Counterpane Internet Security and has a 20 year career building and managing information technology sales and partner organizations. “The ISF continues to grow steadily because the organization knows how to consistently deliver highly focused knowledge to its members” said Mr. Walton. “We expect these roundtables will provide non-members with a short but highly valuable experience with the engine behind this focus: our ISF membership and the priorities they set for the organization’s analysts.”
