Panda Bolsters Enterprise Anti-Virus

Panda Software Thursday debuted beta versions of its 2005 line of corporate anti-virus products, all of which now include the Glendale, Calif.-based vendor's new TruPrevent technologies.

Panda Software Thursday debuted beta versions of its 2005 line of corporate anti-virus products, all of which now include the Glendale, Calif.-based vendor's new TruPrevent technologies.

Evaluation editions of BusinesSecure with TruPrevent Technologies, EnterpriSecure with TruPrevent Technologies, and TruPrevent Corporate can be downloaded from "TruProtect automatically and reliably intercepts problems without the need for human intervention, reducing response times," claimed Panda.

TruPrevent includes a number of anti-virus tactics, ranging from buffer-overflow protection to behavioral-based detection.The new Panda software includes defenses for Windows clients and file servers.
