Report: Vonage Planning IPO

Voice over IP leader Vonage Holdings is readying paperwork to file for an initial public offering, according to a report Thursday in the Wall Street Journal.

Voice over IP leader Vonage Holdings is readying paperwork to file for an initial public offering, according to a report Thursday in the Wall Street Journal.

According to the Journal's story, which quoted an unnamed "person familiar with the matter," Vonage is seeking to raise $600 million through the IPO. The company, which says it has approximately 800,000 customers, has previously raised more than $400 million in venture capital.

The IPO plans were also reported Wednesday night on the online edition of the Daily Deal.
