Revinetix Names Engineering VP

Product development exec to lead company in delivering data backup and recovery systems for small-to-medium businesses (SMBs)

SALT LAKE CITY -- Revinetix has named John Robertson as its Vice President of Engineering to guide strategic planning of new data protection technologies and to head the companys development teams. Revinetix develops turnkey data backup and recovery systems designed to meet the protection and pricing needs of SMBs.

Robertson came to Revinetix from Linux Networx, a clustered high performance computing (HPC) company where he was a product manager of their HPC Storage Solutions. Prior to Linux Networx, his work included the development of architectural and product integration designs during his tenures at Novell, Inc., Volera, Inc. and Mobile Productivity, Inc.

“John’s expertise in software/systems architecture and extensive experience in leading product development initiatives will be instrumental as we continue to move our technology vision forward,” said Revinetix President and CEO Thomas Hogan. “We are very pleased to welcome him to our growing team.”
