LAS VEGAS -- Verari Systems, a premier developer of energy efficient data center consolidation platforms utilizing independent blade-based computing and storage solutions, today announced that its VB2242 server blade is now certified for use with VMware ESX 3.5. Optimized for space-constrained enterprise computing using the energy-efficient Verari Systems BladeRack® 2 XL (BR2-XL) platform, the VB2242 and the recently announced VB1257 server blades provide significantly lower total cost of ownership than any competing product on a per VMware image basis.

“Verari Systems is making its customers’ lives easier by enabling them to get the most out of the latest multicore processing power and VMware virtualization software while lessening management overhead at essentially no cost to the user experience,” said Bernie Mills, senior director, Alliances Programs at VMware. “As a VMware Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program member, Verari Systems is providing flexible ways for companies to meet the growing and ever-changing needs of enterprise computing.”
