Xyratex Integrated Seagate's Savvio Drives

Xyratex is the first to announce support for Seagate's Savvio 15K.2 and Savvio 10K.3 small form factor disk drives

HAVANT, U.K. -- Xyratex Ltd. (Nasdaq: XRTX), leading provider of enterprise-class data storage subsystems and storage process technology today announced support for Seagate's Savvio(R) 15K.2 and Savvio(R) 10K.3 SFF enterprise hard disk drives. Seagate Savvio 2.5 inch hard drives have been fully integrated into Xyratex's OneStor SP1224s, 2U 24 drive storage system, making it the industry's first, fully integrated external storage subsystem to deliver the highest-performing, most energy efficient drives available for enterprise storage systems.
