CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Permabit Technology Corporation, the provider of scalable, data reduced storage for enterprise archiving, today announced the appointment of Ed Reilly as vice president of worldwide sales and the promotion of Katherine Edwards to vice president of human resources. Reilly has held executive and managerial positions with Altiris (acquired by Symantec in 2007), Peregrine Systems, Siebel Systems and Oracle. He will be responsible for driving Permabit's sales operations and execution. Edwards has worked at Permabit for over three years and prior to joining Permabit, worked as a member of the human resources team in the Boston office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. At Permabit, she will expand her role designing and managing human resources initiatives that exploit and support business growth.

A prominent industry veteran, Julian is currently on the Executive Advisory Board of Virtual Iron Corporation and held a board position with Avamar Technologies, now part of EMC. Julian most recently served as senior vice president of Americas sales and global accounts for VERITAS Software, a leading provider of storage and infrastructure software products. VERITAS was acquired by Symantec in July 2005.“Joe is an outstanding addition to our team.
