(Nasdaq: BCSI - News), the leader in secure content and application delivery, and CITTIO Inc., the innovation leader in automated network and systems monitoring software, today announced that CITTIO has joined the Blue Coat technology partner program and has incorporated full enterprise monitoring support for Blue Coat ProxySG(TM) appliances in its CITTIO WatchTower® software. Blue Coat SG appliances provide Web security, combined with policy control and acceleration for applications and content, across Wide Area Networks (WAN), Internet gateways, data centers and to and from remote users. CITTIO WatchTower® software provides network and systems monitoring with fully automated configuration.

CITTIO WatchTower software support and integration for Blue Coat products includes auto-discovery and fingerprinting of any Blue Coat ProxySG appliances on the network; automated performance monitoring; real-time bandwidth utilization and troubleshooting; SNMP trap management; topology diagramming; and inclusion of Blue Coat appliances in an executive dashboard for monitoring service levels.
