GFI on Tuesday launched the GFI LANguard Security Event Log Monitor (S.E.L.M.) and GFI Network Server Monitor bundle available at special pricing. The pair will be available for purchase together at a discount, starting from $695 to monitor five servers. The discount reflects a 20 percent price cut.

GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. and GFI Network Server Monitor complement each other: GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. performs network-wide event-log monitoring, allowing administrators to be alerted to important security events immediately; GFI Network Server Monitor automatically detects network and server problems. The monitoring systems can send alerts as well as take action, for example, reboot the machine or restart a service.

The company has cut prices to appeal to all system administrators, from entry-level to enterprise sized. Previously, a pack to monitor 10 servers via GFI LANguard S.E.L.M. and unlimited servers via GFI Network Server Monitor cost $1,649. The new customer cost is now $1,295. The discount is applicable only when both products are purchased at the same time. (Click here for more pricing information.)
