Supporting all major operating systems, RevOS schedules automated backups down to the desktop level for every machine connected to a network - even those connected through a VPN (Virtual Private Network). Full, differential, and incremental backup levels are all supported, as well as client-side compression to maximize storage capacity. RevOS also keeps a running catalog database of all the files that have been saved on the backup appliance.

As with Revinetix’ existing lines of Sentio appliances, the new Sentio HD 8000 Series also include Xeon high-performance processors, Gigabit and Fast Ethernet controllers, dual-redundant power supplies, high speed Serial ATA (SATA) drives of varying capacities and RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) 5 technology. Backups are fully automated, restores are quick and reliable, and archive drives are hot swappable, enabling removal and offsite storage.“We are empowering SMBs with data storage and protection technologies that strategically position them to stay ahead of the increasing data tsunami,” said Revinetix President and CEO Thomas Hogan. “The Sentio HD 8000 Series represents a culmination of proven data storage and protection functionality in a larger capacity at an accessible price point.”
