Linksys and VoIP vendor Vonage said Monday they have started shipping a previously-announced Linksys wireless router that is VoIP-ready.

Linksys said its Wireless-G Broadband Router has two built-in phone jacks that support Vonage's VoIP service. Linksys is a division of Cisco Systems. Vonage service is bundled with the router, the companies said in a statement.

Vonage has been working with home and small business-oriented WLAN equipment vendors, including Linksys and Netgear, to build their VoIP service into those vendors' routers and other equipment. Linksys previously released a phone adapter for existing wireless routers. Linksys provided no pricing information for the router.
