SUNNYVALE, CA. and YOKNEAM, ISRAEL - June 23, 2009 - Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ: MLNX; TASE: MLNX), a leading supplier of high-performance, end-to-end connectivity solutions for data center servers and storage, today announced that its 40Gb/s InfiniBand adapters and switches are being integrated into the new HP Extreme Scale-Out (ExSO) portfolio. Mellanox's industry-leading 40Gb/s InfiniBand products are proven networking solutions for compute-intensive server and storage connectivity.

Mellanox ConnectX 40Gb/s InfiniBand adapters enable the fastest transaction latency, as low as 1usec, and the highest transaction rate of above 50 million messages per second, making it the most scalable and suitable solution for current and future transaction-demanding applications. Incorporating advanced tools that simplify networking management and installation, Mellanox 40Gb/s InfiniBand switches provide the needed capabilities for the highest scalability and future growth, and can carry converged traffic with the combination of assured bandwidth and granular quality of service.

The HP ExSO portfolio includes a new super-efficient, modular systems architecture that delivers a new level of cost and resource savings for businesses involved in Web 2.0, cloud and high-performance computing. The HP ExSO portfolio is powered by the HP ProLiant SL server family, which uses an extremely lightweight rail and tray design rather than the traditional chassis and rack form factor to dramatically reduce capital costs while using a fraction of the space and power normally required in a data center. Mellanox 40Gb/s InfiniBand adapters and switches enable users to link HP ProLiant SL servers with the world's fastest, most reliable, and lowest-latency interconnect.

"Applications such as HPC, Web 2.0 and cloud computing are growing rapidly, requiring data center managers to quickly scale their server infrastructure," said John Monson, vice president of marketing at Mellanox Technologies. "The combination of HP's ExSO architecture and Mellanox's 40Gb/s InfiniBand adapters and switches provides end-users with industry-leading and scalable performance, and significant infrastructure and energy costs savings."

"Customers with scale-out environments need powerful solutions that will reduce costs, improve energy efficiency and dramatically accelerate return on investment," said Steve Cumings, director of marketing for the Scalable Computing and Infrastructure organization at HP. "The HP ProLiant SL family combined with Mellanox 40Gb/s InfiniBand solutions enable customers to create scale-out environments that deliver maximum performance per dollar, lowest power consumption, and rapid scalability."About Mellanox
