CenterBoard Could Be SOA Platform
CenterBoard is extending the OSPF routing protocol to improve the efficiency of queries across networked data. If other vendors follow suit, they may pave the way for service-oriented architectures.

While other companies have made the "network is the application" claim, CenterBoard is one of the first to follow through. Other technologies may provide real-time access to operational data, but they usually require specific configurations regarding data location. CenterBoard's network-centric technology allows data locations to be changed without changes to the central server. Many SOAP and Web services vendors have expressed concern about reliable messaging and routing. These vendors ought to take a good look at CenterBoard's technology and consider how similar implementations might serve the routing and discovery needs of a cross-domain SOA.
