SANTA CLARA, Calif., and YOKNEAM, Israel -- Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (NASDAQ:MLNX)(TASE:MLNX), a leading supplier of semiconductor-based server and storage interconnect products, today announced its InfiniBand-based adapter and switch solutions help deliver the interconnect backbone on the recently announced HP Oracle Database Machine. Mellanox ConnectX® adapters and InfiniScale® III and IV-based switch systems deliver extremely high bandwidth and low latency for both clustering and storage connectivity that help reduce the data and storage bandwidth bottlenecks associated with querying large data warehouses. These features help customers with large data warehouses to run more queries concurrently and execute them significantly faster on the Oracle Database Machine.

“Mellanox is a long-time partner of Oracle and a major contributor to the open source RDS protocol in OpenFabrics which is used by the HP Oracle Database Machine,” said Eyal Waldman, chairman, president and CEO at Mellanox Technologies. “This is an extremely exciting announcement that will help customers get faster access to critical business information. We are delighted to see the fruits of our collaborations to integrate our leading InfiniBand products with the HP Oracle Database Machine.”
