BOSTON -- Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE: IRM), the global leader in information protection and storage services, today announced the expansion of its digital archiving platform for email management. The new archiving solution, Total Email Management Suite, powered by Mimecast(R) technology, provides businesses with a cost-effective, total end-to-end control of email - including archiving, continuity, security and data leak prevention - hosted in Iron Mountain's secure data centers. In addition, Iron Mountain customers will now have the ability to seamlessly transfer their archived data, whether stored in the Company's SEC Compliant email archive solution or its email management solution, to Stratify's (an Iron Mountain subsidiary) Legal Discovery Services, should they require eDiscovery support.

"As organizations today continue to face significant risks and costs when it comes to email, the ability to securely manage and protect digital information has become more critical than ever before," said John Clancy, president of Iron Mountain Digital, the company's technology business unit. "Just as customers have been turning to Iron Mountain for the storage and protection of their physical records, Iron Mountain Digital's Storage-as-a-Service model offers secure, cost-effective storage and access to digital information, including email. The Total Email Management Suite is a critical component of our digital archiving strategy - providing the rich functionality needed to protect and manage emails, enterprise-class security and necessary functionality in case of litigation, not to mention the peace of mind of a secure Iron Mountain hosted solution."
