MILPITAS, Calif. -- Adaptec, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADPT), a global leader in trusted storage solutions announced today that AccessFlow, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise virtualization solutions, and one of VMwares Premier Partners, has chosen the Snap Server™ by Adaptec® line of network attached storage (NAS) systems as a key component in the company’s VMware virtual infrastructure offerings. For AccessFlow customers with multiple remote sites, Snap Servers are unique in their ability to provide cost-effective storage for virtualization solutions.

AccessFlow has built a successful business around VMware technology, which is rapidly gaining popularity as a result of the many economic and high-availability advantages it provides. These advantages include consolidation and increased utilization rates, reduction in power and cooling costs, as well as improved management and automated IT processes for maximum availability, performance and scalability.

“Our customers are tired of pouring money into server hardware and the associated power and management costs, especially in their remote and branch locations,” stated Steve Kaplan, president of AccessFlow. “A virtual infrastructure as an organizational platform not only for servers, but for storage, offers many economic advantages. Customer benefits include improved management, security and recoverability of their data. Snap Servers are a key component in that infrastructure.”
