Attune Systems vice president of sales named as finalist in 4th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Attune Systems, Inc., a provider of enterprise-class file virtualization solutions, today announced that Carolyn Hyde, the companys vice president of sales, was named a finalist in the “Best Executive – Non-Services Businesses (up to 100 Employees)” category in the 4th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

More than 800 entries were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Executive, Best Entrepreneur, and Best Community Involvement Program. A finalist in the “Best Executive” category, Carolyn Hyde has more than 20 years of experience in building and managing high-tech sales teams. Her career includes senior executive positions with StorageTek, Oracle, EMC, and SER Solutions. From her past experience at large companies such as EMC, where she directed and closed one of the company’s largest transactions in the Federal Government market, to her current experience with file virtualization start-up Attune Systems, where she oversees the sales efforts while gaining great customer traction and impressive industry recognition, Carolyn shows remarkable leadership qualities, business acumen, and technology expertise.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars.” (New York Post, April 27, 2005).

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word “crowned,” winners will be announced during a gala event at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Monday, November 12. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the U.S. and several other countries are expected to attend.
