Brocade Reports Prelim Results

Brocade provided preliminary results for its fiscal 2007 third quarter ended July 28, 2007

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Brocade(R) (Nasdaq: BRCD), the leader in networked storage solutions that help enterprises connect and manage their information, today provided preliminary results for its fiscal 2007 third quarter (Q3 07) ended July 28, 2007.

For Q3 07, Brocade expects to report revenue in a range of $325 million to $327 million, compared to guidance issued on May 31, 2007 of $330 million to $340 million. The Company also expects strong non-GAAP net income per share in a range of $0.11 to $0.12, at the mid to high end of previously provided guidance of $0.10 to $0.12. GAAP net income per share is expected to be between $0.02 and $0.03 compared to previously provided guidance of $0.03 to $0.05. The Company further expects to meet or exceed previously provided guidance for non-GAAP gross margin and non-GAAP operating expenses. A reconciliation of non-GAAP to GAAP net income per share estimates is included below.
