Emulex Enhances Mgt. Software

BARCELONA, Spain -- Microsoft Tech-Ed EMEA IT Professionals -- Emulex Corporation today announced the availability of its Performance and Resource Optimization (PRO)-enabled management pack that extends PRO with storage related events and alerts customers to changes in I/O rates flowing through the adapter. Emulex, a Microsoft launch partner, is delivering a PRO pack supporting Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008, affirming its leadership in virtualization management. Emulex's management pack for PRO provides Virtual Machine Manager with the I/O connectivity information needed to improve the placement and migration of virtual machines based on storage requirements and available resources.
