Irvine Data Center Expands
InteleNet Communications' construction on high density build-out is underway; InteleNet offers immediate pre-sale of data center space

IRVINE, Calif. -- InteleNet Communications, a leader in on-demand managed hosting and colocation services, today announced that construction on its build-out of approximately 12,000 square feet of new space with sufficient infrastructure to accommodate high density computing customers is well underway.
With its recent acquisition by Managed Data Holdings, InteleNet is expediting the completion of this additional space, which was previously to take place over the course of 2008. Under the expedited schedule, InteleNet expects this space to be ready for initial customer use in March 2008. InteleNet will begin pre-sale of this space effective immediately.
The design of this new space will accommodate the ever-increasing deployment and demands of high density devices such as blade servers. While many data facilities are not able to handle the increased demands for power and cooling required by these devices, InteleNet has designed additional power and cooling into this space. For example, to accommodate the additional cooling requirements, InteleNet has engineered into the space such features as higher raised flooring and ceiling heights.
This is an exciting time of growth for InteleNet,” said Carlos Oliveira, General Manager of InteleNet. “Our customers have eagerly anticipated this development. The additional energy and cooling capacity of this increased space will allow us to satisfy not only our existing customers’ growth plans but new customer demands well into the future. We expect to attract regional businesses seeking a high density data center not only in Irvine and Orange County but also in the outlying Los Angeles metropolitan area.”
