NextPage Enforces Policies
NextPage introduces NextPage Enforce, enabling policy application across all storage mediums
November 13, 2008
DRAPER, Utah -- NextPage, a leader in information risk management and compliance, today announced their policy engine, NextPage Enforce, which enables enterprises to enforce policy on enterprise information. NextPage Enforce(TM) is a layer of the NextPage Information Tracking Platform. NextPage Enforce enables enterprises to demonstrate that they are applying consistent document retention and disposition policies, decreasing cost of eDiscovery and reducing the risk of information.
With NextPage Enforce, administrators can define policies to detect documents that fit custom conditions, notify users of impending events, and execute actions on documents. Policies can range from silent and mandatory to interactive and optional. In addition to reducing end-user burden to a level that makes policy compliance practical. The NextPage Digital Thread(TM) makes it possible to know about every version of every document and its location such that when an action needs to take place on a document -- move, copy, delete, notification -- NextPage Enforce can execute it.
"Taking the appropriate action on documents in the enterprise is the only real way to address the cost of eDiscovery and information risk," said Darren Lee, President and CEO of NextPage. "Our technology provides the badly needed bridge between the controlled environment of central storage repository and the ad hoc environment in which users create, share, edit and store enterprise information. NextPage is becoming the standard to appropriately enforce policy across the enterprise."
