PUCHHEIM, Germany -- Open-E GmbH, the software developer of Network Attached Storage (NAS) and iSCSI storage solutions, today announced that the company will introduce an OEM product line of its IP-Storage software solutions at the CeBIT 2007 in Hannover.

The Munich-based company will appeal to new potential partners as it offers the Open-E DSS, Open-E NAS-R3 Enterprise and Open-E iSCSI-R3 Enterprise to its line of software available in white label - generic” versions. In order to customize the generic versions, Open-E will offer an OEM Toolkit, only to certified System Integrators, Software Houses and other OEM customers, to enable them to offer high performing and easy-to-manage IP-Storage systems under their own name.

Therefore we have integrated in our Open-E R-3 and DSS family new appealing technologies, like Intel® I/O Acceleration Technology, hot-swap software RAID, S/W LED drive identifier, and double OS space. These new features will improve data-throughput, cost-effectiveness, management and the downtime of Open-E based storage devices”.
