ProStor Systems' InfiniVault archive appliance meets key compliance regulations for electronic storage media, devices

BOULDER, Colo. -- ProStor Systems, a leading developer of removable disk storage solutions, today announced that its InfiniVault archive appliance has successfully completed a compliance assessment by Cohasset Associates, one of the foremost consulting firms specializing in document-based information management.
Cohasset Associates concluded that the InfiniVault archive system meets all relevant requirements of SEC Rule 17a-4(f); the Health Information Protection and Accountability Act (HIPAA) security requirements for record confidentiality; and the record destruction requirements of the Department of Defense (DOD) Design Criteria Standard for Electronic Records Management Software Applications, Version 2.
The technical report is a rendered objective opinion by Cohasset Associates regarding the capabilities of the ProStor Systems InfiniVault archiving system in meeting the relevant requirements of governmental agency regulations and electronic record management standards. By implementing advanced archiving features that address dozens of worldwide regulations mandating long-term data preservation, including hardware-enforced WORM, AES256 encryption and digital shredding of files in an industry-standard data format, InfiniVault successfully passed the independent compliance review.
