QLogic Ships IBM Card
QLogic is shipping the industry's first Ethernet and Fibre Channel combo expansion card for IBM BladeCenter servers

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -- QLogic Corp.(Nasdaq:QLGC), a leader in Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs),stackable switches and blade server switches today announced it isshipping the industry's first Ethernet and Fibre Channel comboexpansion card for IBM BladeCenter servers. The QLogic(r) Ethernet and4Gb Fibre Channel Expansion Card (CFFh) for IBM BladeCenter providestwo 1Gb Ethernet and two 4Gb Fibre Channel ports. Designed by QLogicspecifically for IBM BladeCenter, the innovative combo expansion cardprovides new levels of space, power and cost-saving I/O connectivityfor blade server customers in Global 2000 enterprises.

The new QLogic Ethernet and 4Gb Fibre Channel Expansion Card is a keycomponent of IBM's Virtual Fabric Architecture, featuring innovativeinterconnect technologies and management tools to help customersincrease speed and efficiency of data transfer across blade servers andnetworks.
