Integrating SAP and other corporate applications can be time-consuming and complex. Cast Iron Systems aims to simplify integration for enterprise customers with its iA3000-SP appliance, which can migrate and synchronize data between SAP and other apps in real time. The appliance can link SAP with multiple apps, including CRM systems, databases and custom applications, and avoids the mundane data-integration tasks required with conventional middleware. Other appliances in the family include the iA2500-SP, which connects SAP to a single application or data source, and the iA3000HA-SP for high-availability apps. The 3000-SP has received integration certification from SAP America and is priced at $100,000. --Andrew Conry-Murray
