Rackable Systems announces support for Intel solid-state disk drives

DALLAS -- Rackable Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: RACK), a leading provider of servers and storage products for large-scale data centers, today announced that it will support Intels industry leading solid-state drives (SSDs) in the company’s Eco-Logical™ server and storage systems. Rackable Systems’ SSD-based products continue the company’s track record of rapidly delivering high-performance, energy-efficient solutions. The new products are being unveiled this week at Storage Networking World 2008 at Intel’s Booth #300.
