What goes better with a good, solid email archive than... a good bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon?

In an odd twist on the industry confab, EMC Corp. (NYSE: EMC) and storage consultant SANZ (OTC: SANZ) have scheduled an intimate roundable” at a Washington restaurant later today.

The goal? To show how SANZ and EMC Legato software can help archive email, of course.

Now, I'm no heavy hitter, but after a nine-hour grind, I'm not sure my constitution could handle the combination of vino and the following topics:

All this and a wine tasting hosted by Washington Postwine critic Michael Franz at Chef Geoff’s Downtown restaurant! I'd likely be kissing the bar rail in no time. In fact, just thinking about tackling all this after work makes me wish for something heartier than vin rose.Then again, the picture that goes with the invitation looks pretty tempting. Those people can't be talking about maintaining email appropriately.

Then again, it's Washington, so maybe they are.
