RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif., Jan. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Viking InterWorks(TM), Inc., a Sanmina-SCI Company (NASDAQ:SANM) and designer and manufacturer of memory modules, today announced a family of 10-pin embedded USB (eUSB) solid-state storage drives. With densities ranging from 64MB to an industry-leading 16GB, Viking InterWorks' 10-pin eUSB drives deliver high performance, reliability, advanced ECC and wear leveling, while simultaneously offering a rugged solution to embedded and enterprise systems Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

Viking InterWorks' eUSB modules provide non-volatile, solid-state storage that is ideal for a variety of embedded applications, including Single Board Computers (SBCs), networking equipment, blade servers and gaming machines, or other applications that are extremely space constrained. All Viking InterWorks' eUSBs combine the standard USB 2.0 interface with the highly reliable Single Level Cell (SLC) NAND Flash for seamless, highly reliable integration.
