4:45 AM -- Ever thought about storage networking and sex at the same time? Neither had I until I was, ahem, rifling through my pockets on the way to work this morning.

Hidden away amidst all the sundry vendor crap from last week's Infosecurity show was a small package from Radware Ltd. (Nasdaq: RDWR). At first I thought this was a set of matches but, on closer inspection, I discovered that the package contained a bright green condom.

Now, I know that networking vendors are preaching tight security, availability, and performance at the moment, but this is something else altogether. Intrigued, I resolved to find out more.

Apparently, the condoms were tied to an advertising campaign titled "How naked is your network?" It gets better. The guys from Mahwah, N.J., will be handing out more of their little gifts at this week's Interop show in New York as part of another innuendo-heavy campaign entitled, "Is your network letting you down?"

So if you happen to be at the Javits Center this week and feel the need to protect your hardware, you know who to speak to.Just for the record, I have never had a problem with network downtime.
