EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Compellent Technologies, Inc. today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated will act as sole book-running manager, with Needham & Company, LLC, Piper Jaffray & Co., RBC Capital Markets and Thomas Weisel Partners LLC acting as co-managers of the offering. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not been determined. The initial public offering is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2007.
