BOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Crossbeam Systems®, Inc., the leader in unified threat management (UTM) for the world’s largest networks, today announced that on the strength of its innovative UTM security switches, the company’s fiscal year 2006 was its strongest year to date in terms of revenue and customer growth, once again confirming the company’s position as the leader in high-end UTM solutions worldwide.

Crossbeam shipments of high-end UTM units nearly doubled in 2006, with the Company’s revenue growing 75 percent over last year – 49 percent of the revenue came from North America and 51 percent from international operations. The company also grew its customer base to more than 750 organizations during the year and increased its headcount by 20 percent.
