Data Domain Prices Offering
Data Domain prices its previously announced public offering at $27.00 per share

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Data Domain, Inc. (NasdaqGM:DDUP - News) announced today that it has priced its previously announced public offering at $27.00 per share. A total of 2,800,000 shares are being sold by Data Domain, and a total of 3,200,000 are being sold by the selling stockholders identified in the prospectus.
Data Domain intends to use its net proceeds from the offering for working capital and other general corporate purposes. Data Domain will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of shares being sold by the selling stockholders. Net proceeds to the company are expected to be approximately $71.5 million.
The underwriters have an option to purchase up to an additional 420,000 shares from Data Domain and up to an additional 480,000 shares the selling stockholders to cover over-allotments, if any.
Morgan Stanley acted as book-running manager for the offering and Pacific Crest Securities, Wachovia Securities, Canaccord Adams Inc. and Needham & Company, LLC acted as co-managers.
