MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Kazeon Systems, Inc., a leading provider of effective eDiscovery solutions, and PSS Systems, pioneer of the legal holds and enterprise retention management software market, today announced a joint technology and sales partnership aimed at providing enterprises with a comprehensive solution for eDiscovery. Through this combination, corporations will be able to significantly reduce eDiscovery costs, better prepare and respond to reactive eDiscovery requests and proactively reduce information volume by enforcing retention policies in compliance with legal holds.

The joint solution addresses the strategic enterprise needs of enhancing and automating the identification, preservation, collection, processing and analysis of electronically stored information, as well as enabling efficient enterprise retention management policies. The partnership between Kazeon and PSS Systems provides a single platform to meet these needs, improving the entire legal information governance process, delivering more predictability and reducing overall legal, IT and operating costs.

Through the partnership, enterprises will gain from the combination of PSS Systems Atlas suite of products with Kazeon’s Information Server product line. Atlas, the world’s leading legal hold and retention management software, includes Atlas LCC for automating legal holds and litigation workflow and Atlas ERM for modernizing and managing retention management across disparate data types and sources. The Kazeon Information Server product line is the industry’s first to integrate the eDiscovery functions of identification, collection, preservation, processing and analysis, enabling customers engaged in reactive litigation or proactive eDiscovery to rapidly perform early case assessments and to more efficiently comply with the amended Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.

“Corporations are looking to bring eDiscovery functions in-house in order to achieve higher relevancy, more predictable costs and faster turnaround,” said Sudhakar Muddu, CEO of Kazeon, “PSS Systems provides the most comprehensive and trusted software for managing legal holds and collection workflows and its Atlas ERM software provides the retention policies that can help break the cycle of too much data to discover. Combining Atlas with Kazeon’s ability to integrate and automate key eDiscovery functions makes complete sense for enterprises looking to build effective reactive and proactive eDiscovery processes.”
