SPRING, Texas -- Pivot3, Inc., the inventor of high-definition storage based on distributed RAID, today announced that it has appointed storage veteran Marc Tanguay as vice president of sales. Tanguay brings more than 25 years of sales experience in the storage industry, with a focus on channel and OEM relationships. He will be leading a growing team comprised of physical security sales experts and storage sales engineers, who come together to help the company bring its high-definition video storage solutions to the physical security market.

Marc Tanguay joins Pivot3 with an impressive track record and understanding of the channel, as well as end-user needs,” said Robert Fernander, president of Pivot3. “He has the drive and experience necessary to lead a team with extensive knowledge of the physical security and the storage market. We are pleased to have another top-caliber executive join our company.”

“I am excited to be part of a team that develops and markets its products at the convergence of storage and physical security,” said Marc Tanguay. “Organizations realize that their increasing video surveillance implementations drive higher storage capacity and performance requirements. This is a real issue in the physical security market, where longer retention times and megapixel video are driving the adoption of the latest IP-based storage solutions. Pivot3 is gaining tremendous traction with its high-definition storage solutions. I will be soon sharing more real-world customer stories that will prove the great market acceptance of the Pivot3 RAIGE™ (RAID Across Independent Gigabit Ethernet) technology.”
