Riverbed Technology is giving IT managers more tools to customize their infrastructure by introducing new product capabilities and developer tools, including FlyScript, which enables integration and automation within the company's platform, third-party tools and proprietary software. FlyScript will be supported by Riverbed's online Splash community.
Riverbed's FlyScript is an extension of the scripting and customization capabilities of the company's Stingray Traffic Manager, which lets enterprises set traffic management policies for specific applications and create custom features. FlyScript also includes REST APIs for Riverbed's Cascade Shark and Cascade Profiler. Riverbed also introduced the Python SDK to support development of custom modules and applications.
