FC Switches Still Going Strong
Sales of SAN Fibre Channel switches and host bus adapters grew 3% in Q3 2003, to $446 million. Brocade Communications Systems led the market with $275 million in FC switch revenue, followed by McData Corp., Cisco Systems and QLogic Corp.

Who's Fanning The Fire

EMC led the way in storage-software sales as of Q3 2003, with 26.1% revenue share. Veritas took second place. Computer Associates and IBM tied for third. Hewlett-Packard ranked fourth.
