Tech Data has put together a suite of IP communications services geared for SMBs that include a hosted option, making VoIP an affordable reality for those that don't have the budget to invest in infrastructure. The services are a blend of applications from Cbeyond, Telovations and XO Communications; they include converged network connectivity for voice and data systems, as well as hosted and managed telephony solutions. The Clearwater, Fla.-based distributor will market the new offerings through its Cisco resellers.

According to AMI-Partners, the market for hosted VoIP in the SMB is huge and growing rapidly. By 2010, SMBs in North America will spend $1.56 billion on hosted VoIP -- a CAGR of close to 57 percent from 2005.ChannelWeb
