9:30 AM -- Hurricane Wilma's made landfall in Florida, and so have we. For better or worse, the editors of Byte and Switch made it to Storage Networking World for this week's show.

We may regret it yet. While the National Hurricane Center's latest report says Wilma will drift from southern Florida into the Atlantic later today, the latest advisory packs a punch:

  • TORNADOES ARE POSSIBLE OVER PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERNFLORIDA PENINSULA AND THE FLORIDA KEYS TODAY.

Wilma's caused at least one vendor, Intel Corp., to forgo the show. It's too early to say weather that's a trend.

But stay tuned. We're here now, but there's still the matter of getting out later this week.Mary Jander, Site Editor, Byte and Switch
