M-Tech Information Technology has released an enterprise-wide identity management system for Oracle Identity Management, a key component of Oracle Application Server 10g. The user provisioning and password management solution is aimed at allowing organizations to securely and effectively manage user identities and network access privileges using a single infrastructure. The combination of M-Tech's user provisioning solution ID-Synch and password management solution P-Synch with Oracle Identity Management is designed to support central access reporting, directory cleanup, and compliance with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA. Additionally, it targets reducing IT administration overhead and expediting activities such as new hire access privileges. The new system also is aimed at eliminating the need to construct new user profile data as a pre-requisite to deploying a user provisioning or password management solution.

"The combination of our identity management suite with Oracle Identity Management adds tremendous value for our customers who implement Oracle products, allowing them to seamlessly integrate their Oracle environment with their M-Tech solutions," Robert Miller, vice president of marketing for M-Tech, said in a statement. "Partnering with industry leaders to extend the breadth of our solutions is an important strategy for M-Tech."
