CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Neterion, the industry leader in the 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter

market for server and storage environments, announced that they are conducting a demonstration of

their new 10GBASE-T adapter at the annual Interop trade show in Las Vegas May 20 - 25.

Neterion is currently sampling the Xframe II V-NIC™ adapter that meets the IEEE802.3an

standard for 10GBASE-T networks.

The Xframe II adapter, featuring Teranetics’ industry standard, single chip, low powerTN1010 10GBASE-T PHY transceiver, enables existing copper cabling infrastructures in data

centers to support the full 100m reach defined by the IEEE, while remaining significantly below the

maximum 25W power envelope allowed by PCI slots.

“End users expect a cost effective migration path allowing their existing copper-based

networks to achieve 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance,” said Dave Zabrowski, president and CEO ofNeterion. “However, they have been constrained by reach limitations of the adapters currently on

the market. Our new 10GBASE-T Xframe II V-NIC adapter, with its low power consumption

profile, overcomes those technical challenges and provides the solution that end users are seeking.”
