Network management vendor Ipswitch Inc. and quality and compliance management developer Coast Software recently revealed a partnership to bundle network monitoring and Web site testing software for small and medium-sized businesses.

The two companies will integrate Coast's WebMaster, a Windows-based package that automates Web content verification and maintenance tasks, and Ipswitch's WhatsUp Professional network monitoring application. Ipswitch will market the combined software.

The new bundle will enable existing WhatsUp Professional users to extend their proactive monitoring to include Web and intranet sites and monitor their organization's entire online network including partner content, e-commerce channels, and lead-generating partner sites, as appropriate.

The Ipswitch WhatsUp Professional and Coast Software's WebMaster package, which includes a one-year service agreement, is available for $2,295 directly from Ipswitch and from its distribution partners.
