PolarLake announced the release of PolarLake Integration Suite V4.0, which delivers new functionality, including added support for business activity monitoring (BAM) and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) based on the BPEL4WS 1.1 standard. Integration Suite V4.0 adds the PolarLake Process Integrator to the existing suite of products that includes Jintegrator, Database Integrator, Messaging Integrator, and Adapters.

Built on the same XML server as the rest of the product suite, the Process Integrator enables enterprises to orchestrate complex business processes within the standards-based integration platform provided by the existing product suite, according to the firm. It supports BPEL for the composition of automated business processes.

Using the Process Integrator, system developers can import and export BPEL definitions and allow non-SOAP messages to be included within the orchestration as Process Circuits.

Other enhancements to the product suit include support for Xquery, which can be used to define content-based routing within the XML circuits; support for many-to-many document maps with the Mapper; support for many-to-many mapping between database tables and XML documents; support for WSDL, allowing WSDL interfaces to be defined for XML data circuits.

The upgrade is available immediately.
